Ingredients

  • To fry:
  • 200 g - Onion (big ones)
  • 20 g (approx. 5-6) - Green chillies
  • 1 cup - pudina, cleaned
  • 1 cup - ginger, sliced
  • 10 g (approx. 2 tbsp) - oil
  • To cook:
  • 1/2 kg - tomato, sliced
  • 10 g (1 tsp) - Garlic paste
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Cloves pattai, powdered
  • 1 cup - Coconut Milk
  • 3 cups - pulav Rice [washed and soaked]
  • 1/2 kg - Mutton pieces cooked with salt
  • 1/2 kg - Brinjals

How to Make Guthi Mutton Pulav

  • Fry ingredients in onions, chillies, pudina, ginger in pan with 10 g of oil.
  • Mix tomato, garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric and cloves with the mutton and add 1 cup of water.
  • Cook it till it becomes soft.
  • Cook rice with coconut milk.
  • Slice brinjals and marinate with salt.
  • Now add everything in together and saute for a while.
  • Add required salt.
  • Preserve hot and serve.
