Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - Chana dal, soaked in water, drained
  • 3 green chillies, minced
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 cup - coriander leaves, minced
  • 1/2 cup - coconut, ground
  • 1/2 cup - spinach, cooked, ground
  • 1/4 tsp - soda bi carb
  • Oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Hare narangi kabab

  • Grind half the dal coarsely. The other half finely.
  • Add a pinch of soda bi carb to each portion.
  • To the coarse paste, add half of the chillies, turmeric, half of the coriander leaves, coconut, salt and pepper.
  • Make flat balls and deep fry in hot oil.
  • In the fine paste, add garam masala, remaining chillies, coriander leaves, spinach, salt and pepper.
  • Make flat balls and deep fry in hot oil.
  • Arrange in alternate layers while serving.
