Ingredients

  • Main Ingredients:
  • ½ kg. Paneer
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • For the green masala:
  • ¾th cup green coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. green chillies, chopped
  • 6 peppercorns
  • 6 Cloves
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon, powdered
  • 1 tbsp. Rock Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Lemon juice

How to Make Hariyali Paneer

  • To make the green masala: Grind all the ingredients 'under green masala' together and keep refrigerated.
  • Cut paneer into desired sized pieces and marinate in the prepared green masala.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and just before serving, pan fry the paneer on both sides over high heat, till light brown, and serve hot.
