Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - Cake Flour
  • 1/2 cup - whole Wheat flour
  • 125g - butter, chopped
  • 3/4 cup - water
  • 1 cup - Brown sugar
  • 100g - Cadbury dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1 /2 tsp - baking soda
  • 1/4 cup - cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup - Almond meal
  • 1/4 cup - Raisins
  • For serving:
  • 1/4 cup - chopped nuts
  • Chocolate syrup
  • How to Make Healthy Chocolate Cupcakes:

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degree.
    2. Line muffin pans with paper cases.
    3. Mix butter, water, sugar and chocolate in a microwave bowl.
    4. Cook for 2 minutes or until butter and chocolate melt and mixture is smooth.
    5. Remove from microwave and set aside to cool.
    6. Sift the flours, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder and add the almond meal and use a balloon whisk to stir until combined.
    7. Make a well in the center and pour in the chocolate mixture.
    8. Whisk gently, add raisins till the mixture combines.
    9. Pour evenly among the lined pans.
    10. Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
    11. Serve with chocolate sauce and chopped nuts.
