Ingredients

  • 1 cup - boiled shredded Chicken
  • 12 slices - fried bread
  • 1/2 cup - grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp - flour
  • 1/2 cup - Cream
  • 1/2 cup - tinned Mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp - Butter
  • chilli powder
  • pepper
  • salt to taste

How to Make Hollandaise Toasts

  • Mix milk, stock and flour to form a smooth paste.
  • Melt the butter, fry chicken till it turns slightly brown, and add the paste.
  • Mix and stir till it becomes smooth and thick.
  • Add in cream and mushrooms, cook on a low fire till it gets properly blended.
  • Remove it from the fire, add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Lay fried bread in a serving dish and spread the filling on top.
  • Sprinkle it with cheese and chilly powder.
  • Serve immediately.
