  • 500g - Bananas
  • 1/2 cup (heaped) - Sugar
  • 1 - Clove
  • 2 tbsp - Lime juice
  • 3-4 drops - (any color) food color
  • How to Make Homemade Banana Jam:

    1. Peel and slice the bananas.
    2. In a pan, boil the bananas along with lime juice and clove till the banana turns soft and mushy. (You can cool the mixture and pass through a clean muslin cloth to get a smoother mixture).
    3. Add sugar, a few spoons at a time, and stir well until the entire sugar dissolves. Bring to boil, skimming any froth from top. Keep stirring, on medium heat, till you get a thick consistency.
    4. Add the food colour and mix well. Switch off the heat and transfer the jam into sterilised jars.
