Ingredients

  • 100 gm Cumin seeds
  • 50 gm Cardamom
  • 50 gm Black Peppercorns
  • 30 gm Fennel seeds
  • 30 gm Black cumin seeds
  • 30 gm Coriander seeds
  • 15 gm Cloves
  • 15 gm Cinnamon
  • 15 gm Bay Leaf
  • 10 gm Ginger powder (optional)
  • 15 gm Mace
  • 2 nutmegs (broken)
  • How to Make Homemade Punjabi Garam Masala:

    1. Dry grind all the ingredients, except powdered ginger (if using). Do not roast.
    2. Mix in the ginger powder well.
    3. Store as general.
