Ingredients

  • basmati Rice - 2 cups
  • peas - 1/4 cup
  • Onion - 2 sliced
  • Carrot - 2
  • beans - 8
  • Cauliflower - 1
  • Potato - 2
  • Lime - 1
  • pudina - 15 leaves
  • Curd - 1/4 cup
  • spices - 4 each (cinnamon, clove, cardamom)
  • Ghee or oil - 1/2 cup
  • To Grind :
  • Garlic - 7
  • Ginger - 10 gms
  • green chilly - 6 nos
  • fennel - 1tsp
  • Jeera - 1tsp
  • dhaniya pdr - 1tsp
  • How to Make Homemade Vegetable biryani:

    1. Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, add sliced onion and fry till golden brown. Add all other vegetables and saute for 5 mins. Then add the ground masala, add curd and saute till the oil separates.
    2. Now add rice and add 3 cups of water.
    3. Add salt, pudina, lime juice and cook it in dum for about 15 mins.
    4. Serve hot with salad or raitha.
