  • 2 packets fresh mushrooms
  • 1.5 tsp - butter
  • 1 tsp - fresh garlic paste
  • 3 cups - milk
  • 1 cup - water
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

How to Make Hot and Sour Mushroom Soup

  • Wash the mushrooms well and chop them into small pieces.
  • Lightly heat butter in a non-stick vessel.
  • Add garlic paste and saute for few seconds.
  • Add mushrooms.
  • Saute till done and the water from the mushrooms has dried.
  • Remove from gas.
  • Keep aside half cup mushrooms for garnishing.
  • Add one and a half cup milk to the remaining mushrooms and grind them finely.
  • Add the remaining milk and water to the ground mushrooms and keep to boil.
  • Boil on a medium flame stirring continuously.
