How to Make Hot and Sweet Potato and Peppers

  • Boil the potatoes, peel and cut into 2cm cubes.
  • Soak tamarind in 1/2 cup of water and extract the juice.
  • Crush cumin, fenugreek fennel and pepper together.
  • Heat the oil in a kadai, add the crushed spices and fry for few seconds.
  • Add capsicums and fry till capsicums are softened.
  • Add all the powders and tamarind extract.
  • Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add potatoes, salt and jaggery.
  • Mix well, cover and simmer on low heat for 5 mins.
  • Serve.
