Ingredients

  • Toor dal - 1 cup
  • Potato - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Curry leaves - a few
  • Black pepper powder - 2 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Seasoning - (Oil, mustard seed, cumin seeds)

How to Make Hot and Tasty Dal

  • Add cut potato and tomato pieces and add them to the dal along with the curry leaves, black pepper and pressure cook it.
  • After 3 whistles, add salt and simmer.
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard and cumin and pour into the dal curry.
  • Serve.
