Ingredients

  • 750 g - mince
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1.5 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - Rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp - Thyme
  • pinch - Nutmeg
  • 1.5 tsp - breadcrumbs
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - paprika
  • How to Make Hot Herbed Meatballs:

    1. In a large bowl combine the mince with salt, rosemary, pepper, marjoram, thyme and nutmeg.
    2. Roll into 2.5 cm (1-inch) balls with floured hands.
    3. Dip meatballs in beaten eggs to coat thoroughly, and then roll in breadcrumbs which have been seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika.
    4. Place crumbed meatballs on a lightly greased tray, bake in moderately hot oven for 15 minutes, or until they are well browned and cooked thoroughly.
    5. Shake tray occasionally to keep meatballs in good shape.
