  • 750 g - mince
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1.5 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - Rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp - Thyme
  • pinch - Nutmeg
  • 1.5 tsp - breadcrumbs
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - paprika

How to Make Hot Herbed Meatballs

  • In a large bowl combine the mince with salt, rosemary, pepper, marjoram, thyme and nutmeg.
  • Roll into 2.5 cm (1-inch) balls with floured hands.
  • Dip meatballs in beaten eggs to coat thoroughly, and then roll in breadcrumbs which have been seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika.
  • Place crumbed meatballs on a lightly greased tray, bake in moderately hot oven for 15 minutes, or until they are well browned and cooked thoroughly.
  • Shake tray occasionally to keep meatballs in good shape.
