Ingredients

  • 12 oz - Mushroom
  • 3 oz - margarine or Butter
  • 3 oz - flour
  • 1.5 pints - water
  • 1.25 pints - Milk
  • For Seasoning:
  • black pepper powder
  • Salt, to taste.
  • How to Make Hot Mushroom Soup:

    1. Chop mushrooms finely.
    2. Melt margarine or butter in a saucepan, fry mushrooms for 5 mins, stirring to prevent discoloration.
    3. Stir in the flour and cook for 3 mins.
    4. Remove the pan from the heat and gradually add water and milk.
    5. Bring to the boil and cook until soup thickens.
    6. Season well and serve hot with chopped dill leaves.
