  • 1 lb - Prawns.
  • 2 tbsp - Tamarind paste.
  • 2 tsp - Chilli powder.
  • 2 pinch - Turmeric.
  • 2-3 - onions, medium size, chopped.
  • 1/2 inch - Ginger, finely chopped.
  • 3 - tomatoes, medium size.
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Hot n Spicy Prawn Curry:

    1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. When hot, add the onions and ginger and saute it.
    2. Add tomatoes and saute well.
    3. Add prawns to this, along with chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
    4. Keep frying till the prawns are half cooked.
    5. Mix the tamarind paste in a cup of water and add to the prawns.
    6. Add more water if required.
    7. Let it cook with the lid closed in medium heat.
    8. When the curry is cooked and is thick, add curry leaves.
    9. This can be eaten with rice and chapattis.
