  • 1 - squash
  • 1/4 cup - til (soaked for 1/2 hour)
  • 1/4 cup - coconut, fresh grated
  • 5 - Green chillies
  • 1 tbsp - Urad Dal
  • Few Red Chillies
  • Some Curry leaves
  • How to Make Indian Squash with til:

    1. Cut the squash into small pieces.
    2. Add very little salt and microwave till it is tender.
    3. Drain til. Add grated coconut and green chillies to it.
    4. Grind to a paste, adding a little salt.
    5. In a kadai add oil.
    6. When it is hot, add urad dal and red chillies.
    7. After they are done, add some mustard seeds and curry leaves.
    8. Now, add the cooked squash and ground til paste to this.
    9. Let it simmer for some time.
    10. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
