Ingredients

  • 4 slices - bread
  • 1 - capsicum, chopped
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - Tomato paste
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • A few Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli
  • A pinch Turmeric
  • A dash of Lemon juice
  • Oil
  • Coriander leaves to garnish
  • How to Make Indian Tadka:

    1. Heat oil in a pan.
    2. Add mustard oil and curry leaves.
    3. Once the mustard oil is heated, add chopped onion and capsicum.
    4. Now add the tomato paste till the capsicum and onions are soft.
    5. Add red chilli, salt and turmeric powder to the masala.
    6. Leave it to simmer until it starts to release oil.
    7. Add one tbsp of curd into a pan.
    8. Soak bread in some water, then rinse it and crush it into small pieces.
    9. Finally, add bread pieces and coriander leaves to masala.
    10. Mix it well.
    11. Leave it to simmer for 2 minutes.
