Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 cup - boiled tur dal
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - rasam powder
  • 1 cup - water
  • A pinch - Asafoetida
  • A Pinch - Turmeric
  • 1 tsp - finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • How to Make Instant Lemon Rasam:

    1. Heat oil in a kadai.
    2. Add the mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
    3. Add all the other ingredients except lemon juice and bring to a boil.
    4. Allow it to cool for 2-3 minutes and then add the lemon juice.
    5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
