Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - Quinoa
  • 1/2 cup - rolled oats
  • 1 cup - cornmeal
  • 2 tbsp - Ragi flour
  • 2 tbsp - Pearl millet flour
  • 2 cups - sour yogurt
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - eno salt or baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1/2 tsp - Channa dal
  • A few - Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • How to Make Instant Multigrain Idli:

    1. Heat few drops of oil, splutter the mustard seeds, urad dal and channa dal
    2. Add chopped green chillies, curry leaves, fry for few seconds
    3. Meanwhile grind the quinoa and coarsely powder the rolled oats.
    4. Mix the cornmeal, sour yogurt, ragi flour, pearl millet flour, powdered quinoa-oats mixture in a bowl.
    5. Add the tempered spices to it and finally add the eno salt
    6. Stir quickly and pour a ladle of batter to the greased idli plates
    7. steam in idly cooker for 15-20 mins
