Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Maida
  • 1/4 cup - Rice flour
  • 1 tsp - Jeera
  • 1 tsp - rai
  • 1/4 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1/4 tsp - Channa dal
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • How to Make Instant Vada:

    1. Heat about 2 tbsp oil.
    2. Add rai, jeera, urad dal and channa dal.
    3. When the above contents are roasted properly, add 2.5 cups water and salt (about 1 tsp).
    4. When water starts boiling, add maida and rice flour.
    5. Stir well.
    6. When the mixture forms a lump, remove from fire and cool.
    7. Knead well and make into vadas by taking a small ball of the mixture and patting it flat.
    8. Deep fry the vadas in oil.
    9. You can serve these with tomato sauce.
