How to Make Instant Vada

  • Heat about 2 tbsp oil.
  • Add rai, jeera, urad dal and channa dal.
  • When the above contents are roasted properly, add 2.5 cups water and salt (about 1 tsp).
  • When water starts boiling, add maida and rice flour.
  • Stir well.
  • When the mixture forms a lump, remove from fire and cool.
  • Knead well and make into vadas by taking a small ball of the mixture and patting it flat.
  • Deep fry the vadas in oil.
  • You can serve these with tomato sauce.
