Ingredients

  • 1 cup - raw Rice
  • 1 cup - par boiled Rice
  • 1 cup - Toor Dal
  • 2 tbsp - Coconut
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 8 - Red Chillies
  • Drumstick greens - as needed
  • Asafetida - a pinch
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Iron-rich drumstick adai:

    1. Soak raw rice, par boiled rice and toor dal together in water for 2 hours.
    2. Grind the rice coarsely along with other ingredients (except greens ) and when the batter is ready add greens to it and mix well.
    3. Make adai on a tawa, roasting it on both the sides.
    4. Recipe courtesy: 4 th sense cooking.
