  • 500 gms - lamb fillet
  • Onion juice
  • Olive oil
  • pepper
  • 3 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp - margarine
  • cayenne pepper
  • 400 gms - yogurt
  • salt to taste
  • Accompaniments:
  • few slices of Tomatoes
  • Green chillies

How to Make Iskender Kebab

  • Cut the fillet into cubes.
  • Leave the meat in a marinade of onion juice, olive oil and salt and pepper for 12 hours.
  • Thread the fillet on to skewers and cook under a hot grill.
  • Thread onto oiled skewers.
  • Cook under hot grill until tender.
  • Serve with tomatoes and chillies.
