  • 1/4 kg - Italian flat beans
  • 1 - onion
  • 1 - tomato
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 10 - prawns
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - urad dal
  • 2 tbsp - grated coconut
  • 3 - curry leaves
  • 2 - Oil
  • Salt

How to Make Italian Flat bean Prawn Curry

  • Cut the onions, flat beans and tomato into small pieces
  • Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds and urad dal
  • Add the onion and tomatoes pieces and stir them occasionally until they cook well
  • Add the shrimp to the onion and cook until its colour changes.
  • Add the chopped flat bean pieces to the kadai and stir it continuously
  • Add the slit green chillies to the bean pieces and stir them
  • Add salt, reduce the flame and cover the kadai with a lid
  • When the beans are done add the curry leaves and switch off the stove
  • Add the grated coconut to the cooked beans n mix it well
  • Serve.
