Ingredients

  • 22 - digestive biscuits
  • 1/2 cup - Cashewnut powder
  • 3-4 drops - Almond essence
  • 3 tbsp - cherry or Raisin
  • 3/4 tbsp - Butter
  • 3 tbsp - cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cups - Sugar
  • 1 tbsp - water

How to Make Italian Toron

  • Mix butter and cocoa to a fine paste.
  • Boil the sugar in water for 5 minutes
  • Mix the sugar water into the cocoa paste and add the other ingredients.
  • Take an aluminium tray with baking sheet and apply some butter and pour the mixture.
  • Freeze it for 1 hour.
  • Slice it and enjoy.
