Ingredients

  • Rice - 1 cup
  • Ripe jack fruit flesh - 4 cup, chopped
  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • Jaggery powder - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Salt - 1/8 tsp
  • Melted Ghee or Honey to serve.

How to Make Jackfruit Kadubu

  • Soak the rice in water for 1/2 hour.
  • Drain well and grind with rest of the ingredients to a coarse, crumbly mixture, without adding water.
  • Grease a shallow dish with ghee and pour the mixture in it.
  • Steam for 20 minutes.
  • Cool and cut into pieces.
  • Serve topped with ghee or honey.
