Ingredients

  • 50 gm Butter
  • 50 gm Sugar
  • 100 gm Maida
  • 1/2 tsp - Strawberry essence
  • 20 gm - Mixed fruit jam
  • How to Make Jam Biscuits:

    1. Cream butter and sugar together (i.e. mix together in one direction only).
    2. Add maida.
    3. Mix in 1/2 tsp strawberry essence.
    4. Bind it well into a dough.
    5. Make a chapati like shape and cut into any shape with the help of a biscuit cutter.
    6. Mash mixed fruit jam throughly in a bowl.
    7. Put mashed jam in the middle of the biscuit and then to the whole biscuit.
    8. Cut biscuits and then cut in the centre (a small circle) and place this on the top of the jam applied biscuit.
    9. Fill in some jam in the centre.
    10. Bake these for 20mins at 160 C sprinkle sugar on the jam in the centre after they are baked.
