  • 340 g - fresh or frozen shrimps or Prawns
  • 4 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 - onion, finely chopped
  • 1 inch - fresh Ginger
  • 1 to 2 tsp - Garlic puree
  • 1/2 - red Capsicum in thin strips
  • 1 tbsp - whole cumin seeds, while
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • Salt and pepper

How to Make Jeera Prawn

  • In a pan, heat ghee.
  • Fry the cumin, add onion, ginger and garlic to it.
  • When it gets well cooked, lower the heat, add the turmeric and capsicum.
  • Stir fry until the capsicums have softened but make sure it retains its colour.
  • Then turn up the heat, add the prawns and coriander, and stir fry for about 5 minutes.
  • Serve at once.
