How to Make Jhatpat Masala Dosa

  • Heat oil in a frying pan, add mustard seeds.
  • When it splutters, add curry leaves, chopped onions, green chillies, potato, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Fry for 2-3 min.
  • Then add 1/2 a cup of water and boil for 2-3 min.
  • Keep this masala curry aside.
  • Mix all ingredients for the batter and add water to make it of medium viscosity.
  • Add oil in hot frying pan, add batter and spread out into a dosa.
  • After 2 mins, put masala curry in the middle of dosa horizontally.
  • Fold dosa from two sides. Fry dosa on both sides, add a little oil (if necessary).
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney or without chutney .
