Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Pasta (rotelle)
  • 1 cup - vegetables (beans, carrots, jalapenos)
  • 1 tbsp - salsa sauce
  • 1 tsp - chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder/ rasam Powder
  • 1/2 tsp each - mustard seeds, jeera, Channa dal, Urad Dal
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Jhatpat Pasta:

    1. Boil pasta and vegetables in a dish till pasta turns slightly whitish at the edges.
    2. Take oil in a kadai, splutter the mustard seeds, jeera, channa dal, urad dal and asafoetida.
    3. Add the prepared pasta and vegetables and mix well.
    4. Finally add salsa, chilli sauce and soya sauce, salt and the dry masalas and mix well for 2 mins.
    5. Serve hot.
