Ingredients

  • 1 cup - pasta (rotelle)
  • 1 cup - vegetables (beans, carrots, jalapenos)
  • 1 tbsp - salsa sauce
  • 1 tsp - chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder/ rasam Powder
  • 1/2 tsp each - mustard seeds, jeera, channa dal, urad dal
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Jhatpat Pasta

  • Boil pasta and vegetables in a dish till pasta turns slightly whitish at the edges.
  • Take oil in a kadai, splutter the mustard seeds, jeera, channa dal, urad dal and asafoetida.
  • Add the prepared pasta and vegetables and mix well.
  • Finally add salsa, chilli sauce and soya sauce, salt and the dry masalas and mix well for 2 mins.
  • Serve hot.
