  • 2 cups - jowar flour
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 3 to 4 - Green chillies finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - Ghee or oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Jowari Ki Roti:

    1. Sieve flour and salt.
    2. Add all ingredients except ghee.
    3. Add water little by little, kneading dough very well.
    4. It should become soft, pliable and smooth.
    5. Kneading well is very important so the roti doesn't break.
    6. Take a lump, dust generously with dry flour, pat with palm to flatten.
    7. Use a rotating motion to make circular.
    8. Use very little dry flour to pat.
    9. Make thin or thick as desired.
    10. Place carefully on warm griddle (tawa).
    11. Shallow fry on each side till golden.
    12. Repeat for remaining dough.
    13. Serve hot with green chutney and ketchup.
