How to Make Kadai Chicken with Cashewnuts

  • Boil onions in a vessel.
  • Make a paste of the boiled onions, cashews and poppy seeds.
  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add capsicum, garlic paste and saute for 2 mins.
  • Add coriander powder and chilli powder and saute till the poke goes.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and saute.
  • Add ginger, green chilli and coriander leaves and saute for atleast 5 mins.
  • Add the chicken pieces and mix well.
  • Add salt as required.
  • Cook chicken on low flame.
  • Once chicken is cooked, add garam masala, kasuri methi and the boiled onion paste and mix well.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
