Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg. red pumpkin, peeled, grated
  • 2 cups of rice semolina
  • 1/2 cup - grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup - grated jaggery
  • 1/2 tsp - cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • Ghee as needed

How to Make Kadamb (Pumpkin Cake)

  • Mix coconut and jaggery.
  • Add grated pumpkin.
  • Add salt and rice semolina.
  • Add cardamom powder.
  • Fill this mixture in greased bowls and steam cook for half an hour.
  • Remove and serve hot with melted homemade ghee.
