How to Make Kandathippilli rasam

  • Roast tuvar dal, pepper corns and cumin in ghee; grind with curry leaves and keep aside.
  • Roast kandathippili and arisi thippili in ghee.
  • Extract tamarind juice, add salt and let it boil for 2-3 mins.
  • Then add the ground powder to it and some more water and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Temper with mustard, 1 red chilli and curry leaves.
