Ingredients

  • 1 - Karela
  • 4 - 5 - Red Chillies
  • 1 cup - grated copra
  • 1/2 Lemon sized ball - Tamarind
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Karela Chutney Powder:

    1. Chop the karela into very small pieces.
    2. Deep fry the pieces in oil.
    3. Keep it aside
    4. Powder the copra, red chillies and tamarind.
    5. Add salt and the fried bitter gourd pieces.
    6. Serve with idli and ghee.
    7. This powder lasts for about 1-2 weeks.
