Ingredients

  • 4 - karela
  • 1 -big onion
  • 1 -brinjal
  • 1- potato
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - mirchi powder
  • 1 tsp - dhaniya jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp - amchur powder
  • 1/2 tsp - butter

How to Make Karela Fry

  • Remove the skin of the karela.
  • Steam the karela with salt for 4 - 5 minutes.
  • Now chop the onion very finely.
  • Take brinjal and small potato and cut into very small pieces.
  • Take oil in a vessel, add onion, brinjal and potatoes, and saute.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, salt, amchur powder and dhaniya jeera powder.
  • Cook well, then grind to a paste.
  • Add half tsp butter to this and stuff this into the karela.
  • Shallow fry.
  • Serve with chapatti or dal rice.
