Ingredients

  • 1 cup - cottage cheese, diced
  • 2 tsp - ginger-garlic, green chillies paste
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp - saffron
  • 2 tbsp - full cream
  • 2 tbsp - milk
  • 1 - chopped tomato
  • 1 tsp - kasoori methi
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala
  • 2 tsp - sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Kesariya Paneer

  • Heat oil, add chopped onions and saute it for a while and then add chopped tomatoes.
  • Cook till they are soft and tender.
  • Grind this to make a smooth brown paste.
  • Heat oil and fry ginger-garlic-green chillies paste.
  • Then add paneer cubes and saute till it gets light brown colour.
  • Add brown paste and all the spices and mix well.
  • Mix kesar in milk and dilute well.
  • Add this slurry along with full cream and mix this with the gravy.
  • Cook it for around 5 mins and serve hot.
