Ingredients

  • Ingredients for kofta:
  • Keema - 1/2 kg
  • Ginger paste - 2 tsp
  • Garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Cloves and Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chillies - 5
  • Chutney Dal - 1/4 cup (powdered)
  • Onions- 1 big, chopped fine
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • Ingredients for the Gravy:
  • Onion, chopped - 1
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • To grind: 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsps
  • 2 tsps - red chilli powder

How to Make Kheema Kofta Curry

  • Grind the kheema, green chillies, cinnamon and cloves.
  • Mix the rest of the ingredients mentioned for the kofta. Make small balls.
  • Take a little water in a pan and put the kheema balls in it.
  • Cover and cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Take another pan and add 2-3 tsp of oil.
  • When it is hot, add garam masala and onion.
  • Fry and add the paste of coconut, red chilli powder and ginger-garlic paste.
  • Fry it for a while.
  • Add water to make gravy. Take care not make it too thin.
  • Now add the keema balls and boil for 1/2 an hour.
