How to Make Kheema mayai

  • Heat the oil and add the whole spices and onion.
  • When the onion has turned brown, add the garlic and mince and fry for 30 minutes.
  • Then add the rest of the ingredients except the eggs.
  • Stir, cover and allow it to simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Transfer into an ovenproof dish and crack the eggs onto the mixture.
  • Cook in a pre-heated oven at 190 deg C for a further 30 minutes, until the eggs have cooked.
  • Serve hot with parathas.
