How to Make Lasania Batata

  • Boil the potatoes till just tender, peel and set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan, add the mustard seeds.
  • When they splutter, add the garlic and green chillies.
  • Stir for a while and then, add the asafetida and potatoes.
  • Add the salt and turmeric.
  • Stir for a minute.
  • Add dhania, jeera and garam masala powders.
  • Mix well and set aside.
  • Just before serving, warm up the potato, add the spices to the beaten yoghurt and add to potatoes.
  • Mix well and serve hot, garnished with the coriander leaves.
