  • Left over Idlis - 10 (kept in the fridge and made hard)
  • Onion - 2 medium sized cut fine
  • Tomato - 2 medium sized cut fine
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

How to Make Leftover Fried Idlis

  • Cut idli into 4 pieces. Deep fry in oil. Drain and keep aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil and add the cut onions. Fry and add the cut tomatoes.
  • Add all the powders and glass of water. Allow gravy to thicken.
  • Add salt only for gravy and not to idli.
  • Add fried idlis to the gravy.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
