Ingredients

  • Left over Idlis - 10 (kept in the fridge and made hard)
  • Onion - 2 medium sized cut fine
  • Tomato - 2 medium sized cut fine
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Coriander leaves to garnish
  • How to Make Leftover Fried Idlis:

    1. Cut idli into 4 pieces. Deep fry in oil. Drain and keep aside.
    2. Heat 1 tbsp oil and add the cut onions. Fry and add the cut tomatoes.
    3. Add all the powders and glass of water. Allow gravy to thicken.
    4. Add salt only for gravy and not to idli.
    5. Add fried idlis to the gravy.
    6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
