How to Make Low Calorie Kheer

  • Dry roast the broken wheat and pressure cook for 10 minutes with 2 cups of water.
  • Add milk, powdered jaggery and diced dates and cook for at least one hour, till it is reduced and thickened.
  • Add powdered cashew nuts and powdered cardamom and cook for 5 minutes more.
  • Decorate with silver vark while serving.
