Ingredients

  • For sauce:
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped fine
  • 1/2 tbsp - garlic, chopped
  • 3/4 tsp - Tomato puree
  • 1/4 tsp - chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup low fat Milk
  • 1/2 tsp - cornflour mixed in 1/2 tbsp water
  • For pasta:
  • 1.5 cups - whole Wheat pasta, cooked
  • 1 tsp - garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup - sweet Corn kernels
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli flakes
  • 1/4 cup - Capsicum
  • 1/2 tsp - oil
  • How to Make Low Fat Whole Wheat Pasta:

    1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add onions, garlic and saute.
    2. Add tomato puree, chilli powder and salt and cook for 5 minutes.
    3. Add milk and corn flour mixed in water; boil and keep sauce aside.
    4. Heat 1 tsp oil and saute garlic and capsicum.
    5. Add corn, chilli flakes, pasta and sauce and toss gently.
    6. Cook for 1 minute more and serve hot.
