Ingredients

  • 1 litre - Milk
  • 6 to 8 tbsp - Sugar
  • 1/2 cup - Milk (room temperature)
  • 3 to 4 tbsp - custard powder (vanilla flavour)
  • 3 to 4 - alphonso mangoes (cut into small pieces)

How to Make Mango with custard

  • Boil the milk in a heavy bottomed vessel.
  • Then let it simmer a while.
  • Mix the custard powder in 1/2 cup of milk.
  • Gradually add this to the boiling milk, stirring continuously with another hand to avoid any lumps.
  • Add sugar and continue boiling it till the sugar dissolves completely. Let it cool.
  • Add the mango pieces and refrigerate.
  • Serve chilled.
