  • 250 g - Almonds
  • 250 g - Sugar
  • 200 g - Icing Sugar
  • 2 - Egg whites
  • 1 tsp- rose water for grinding
  • 1/4 tsp - Almond essence
  • Royal icing.
  • How to Make Marzipan Easter Eggs:

    1. Grind the almonds with the egg whites and rose water into a smooth paste.
    2. Transfer the paste into a heavy bottomed pan and add the sugar.
    3. Cook on a low heat stirring all the time until the mixture forms a ball.
    4. Divide the mixture into 10 even sized balls and mould into egg shapes.
    5. Decorate with royal icing.
