  • 250 g - Almonds
  • 250 g - Sugar
  • 300 g - Icing sugar
  • 2 - Egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp - Rose water for grinding
  • 1/4 tsp - Almond essence
  • 250 g - Cashew nuts
  • 1-2 drops - Food colour.

How to Make Marzipan Sweets

  • Grind the almonds and cashew nuts with the egg whites and rose water into a smooth paste.
  • Transfer the paste into a heavy bottomed pan and add the sugar.
  • Cook on a low heat stirring all the time until the mixture forms into a soft ball.
  • Remove from heat and add the icing sugar.
  • Divide the mixture into 3 parts and add a few drops of food colour.
  • Knead until it forms a dry ball.
  • Divide the mixture into even sided balls.
  • Mould into different shapes.
  • Cool in a refrigerator.
