  • 1 cup - Rice flour
  • 1/2 cup - Finely chopped Onions
  • 1/4 cup - Grated Carrots
  • 2 tsp - Jeera seeds
  • 1 - Green chilli, chopped
  • 2 - 3 strands- Chopped Cilantro
  • 2 - 3 tsp - Oil or Ghee
  • Salt - as per taste
  • 2 cups - Water
  • How to Make Masala Akki Rotti:

    1. Mix all the ingredients except oil in a mixing bowl.
    2. Add enough water and make a batter out of it.
    3. The batter should be a little thicker than the dosa/idli batter.
    4. Grease the tawa completely with a few drops of oil.
    5. Take a handful of the batter and spread it on the tawa with your hands.
    6. Place the tawa on stove and cook covered on medium heat.
    7. After about 1/2 - 1 min, pour some oil/ghee and cook covered for another 2-3 mins.
    8. Remove from heat and serve hot with butter and green chutney or with any other sabzi of your choice.
