Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups- Flour
  • 15 tsp- Salt
  • 1 tsp- Chilli powder
  • 4 tsp- Castor Sugar
  • 4 ground Chillies (optional)
  • 1 tsp- Bicarbonate Of soda
  • 1 tsp- Cumin crushed
  • 5 tbsp- Vanaspati
  • Water to mix

How to Make Masala Munch

  • Preheat oven to the required temperature. Sift together the flour, bicarbonate of soda, salt, sugar and the powders.
  • Rub in vanaspati into the mixture.
  • Add crushed cumin, ground chillies, water and make into a pliable dough.
  • Roll out 1 cm thick, cut into desired shape and bake for 12-15 minutes, in the centre of the oven, brushing once with melted fat halfway through baking.
  • Let cool on tray.
