How to Make Masoor dal

  • Cook dal in a pressure pan up to four whistles, mash it and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the diced onion, green chillies and tomato until soft and add the cooked dal, followed by chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Allow it to boil for a while.
  • Simmer the stove and add milk, mixing it well.
  • Finally switch off the stove and add the lemon juice.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
