Ingredients

  • 200 g - Mushrooms
  • 1 cup- boiled peas
  • 1/4 cup - chopped Capsicum
  • 2 - Garlic flakes chopped finely
  • 2 - Onions chopped finely
  • 1 - tomato, chopped finely
  • 2 green chillies, chopped finely
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds powder
  • 1/4 tsp - amchur powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • How to Make Matar (peas) Mushrooms:

    1. Clean and cut mushrooms into halves.
    2. Boil mushrooms for 5 mins. Keep aside.
    3. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds.
    4. When mustard splutter, add onion and fry till golden brown.
    5. Add chopped garlic and green chillies.
    6. Add chopped tomatoes and simmer for 5 mins.
    7. Add all the powders and simmer for 5 mins.
    8. Add mushrooms, peas and capsicum and simmer for 2 mins.
    9. Add water and salt and cook for 10 mins on low flame.
    10. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
