How to Make Mava almond pudding

  • Heat half the ghee, sugar and water on a low fire till sugar melts.
  • Increase the heat slowly and let the syrup boil for a few minutes.
  • Add the remaining ghee and mava gradually stirring constantly.
  • Add sliced almonds and pure ghee.
  • Continue cooking till the mixture leaves the sides of the vessel.
  • Remove from fire, add powdered cardamom and nutmeg when slightly cool.
  • Spread on a greased thali and cut into squares.
