Ingredients

  • 500 g khoya
  • 300 g powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 2 sheets silver foil (edible)

How to Make Mava Burfi

  • Mash khoya and mix it with the sugar.
  • Put into a heavy saucepan and cook on slow flame, stirring continuously.
  • Cook till the mixture gathers into a very soft lump.
  • Place on a work top and roll with a rolling pin to 1/2 inch thickness.
  • Cool a little. Spread the silver foil carefully on it.
  • Cut into any shape or size you like.
